Some jeans styles come and go, and some seem to stick around forever (looking at you, skinny jeans). It doesn’t help that there’s a whole other lingo when trying to buy your next pair, there always seems to be a new variation of your favourite style that just stumps you even more! Straight leg

Straight leg jeans have been in fashion on and off for decades. And we don’t see them going away any time soon. Your mums Levi 501’s back in the day have made a huge comeback along with similar or skinnier styles such as these Frame jeans. Straight cut jeans appear to have a straight up-and-down fit, but can vary on bagginess. This style is a staple in every wardrobe and can be dressed up or down effortlessly. Skinny Jeans

The old faithful. The jeans that suit any occasion. The jeans that started the ‘jeans and a nice top’ trend. Skinny jeans have been around for over 15 years now, and are a staple in most women and men’s wardrobes. The silhouette is very form fitting and often skin-tight. Skinny jeans are so popular due to their versatility, you can wear with trainers and a hoody for a very laid back, effortless look or you can dress them up with heels and a blouse for a night on the town. Skinny jeans look great with tops tucked in or out, with long tops or crop tops and with t-shirts or jumpers. Although there’s a debate that skinny jeans are cancelled for 2021, we don’t think skinny jeans will go away that easily.

They were originally a staple item in every woman’s wardrobe in the 80’s and 90’s (however they were popularly known as just ‘jeans’ back then), but in the past decade, these vintage style jeans have been reinvented and are now one of the most popular jeans styles around. There are different variations of silhouettes for mom jeans, some looser fitting and some more tapered, and the right pair can easily take you from day to night. This style is effortlessly cool and flatters all body types!

High Waisted Jeans

High waisted jeans are one of the most – if not the most – popular styles of jeans around. They are especially form flattering and give the illusion of a balanced or elongated silhouette. The best high waisted jeans are those you feel the most comfortable in, whether that be your favourite skinny jeans or your favourite mom jeans. A high rise also tends to tuck away any of your tummy that might try creep out over the top of your lower rising jeans, so is a popular and comfortable choice of style for a lot of women. 

Cropped

Cropped jeans are a casual staple. They are perfect to pair with flats, sliders or trainers for running errands or having a casual day out, or you can pair with heeled boots and an oversized jacket for an edgier look. The cropped style is perfect for petit women or those who want to draw eyes to your shoes. The varying styles of cropped jeans, such as flared or a raw hem, mean you can take your cropped look to a new level!
