“AIM for Your Goals” – Aim Crawford’s Rise to Success

If you have some sort of goal in mind for how you want your efforts to turn out, you’ll be more motivated to succeed. After completing one, you will feel a sense of accomplishment, which will motivate you to keep going. Setting reasonable goals is the key.  If you get into the habit of setting goals and accomplishing them, it is easy to lose sight of how far you have come as a result.

“AIM for Your Goals” – Aim Crawford’s Rise to Success (#1)

In the past few years, Justin Aim Crawford has become a well-known international photographer with multiple published covers.

When he was in the seventh grade, he discovered photography and bought a digital camera for a friend who was starting a photography business. Justin attempted to support his girlfriend’s modeling career after taking the imagery more seriously. Due to his passion for what he did, he quickly became successful.

His photographs began appearing on the covers of various publications in 2016, after briefly considering photography as a business. A photo of Toya Wright(Johnson) and Zeus Network executive Janeisha John was featured on the cover of two different issues of Ellements Magazine. Other famous people he’s photographed include Tommie (Love and Hip Hop Atlanta), Angel Love (Basketball Wives), R&B artist Tank, actress Danielle Nicolet, and rapper Twista.

Aim also won Arsenic Magazine’s 20K Tuesday photography contest twice for his work with Ellements Magazine. The Bare Edition Cover of Endee Magazine featured his work and he was featured in a TED talk with one of his portraits.

“AIM for Your Goals” – Aim Crawford’s Rise to Success (#2)

Cineglamatorial is his self-proclaimed photography style, which combines elements of glam with cinematic lighting and color palettes and even a dash of editorial flair. It was this combination that caused a sensation on his social media platforms and drew the attention of Marcus G. Blassingame, the editor and chief of Inblack magazine. Blassingame, also a creative director and powerhouse behind Word Up magazine, Hype hair and Black Men Magazine published a 2 page story and spread on Aim Crawford’s work followed by several other publications that put Aim on the map.

As photographers, most are more concerned with building  personal brands and creating a legacy that lasts a lifetime impacting the masses.

Furthermore, Crawford stresses the significance of their models’ feeling safe and comfortable throughout sessions. “We inform artists and models of acceptable conduct in order to lessen the occurrence of unwanted physical contact, assault, and awkward situations.”

Aim Crawford is capable of much more than just photography. His main goal is to be an excellent coach and leader, and the camera is one of the tools he utilizes. Crawford has always been an innovative thinker with a passion for new technologies.

Crawford is admired as a coach by many because of his ability to motivate people to perform at a higher level. Rather than showing people how they imagine they should look, he shows them how they actually appear. It grows into an inner strength that people may draw on in their regular activities and take with them everywhere they go.

“Aim is my word- All my goals start with a target backward mentality. To get started, I make sure I know what I want and who I am. When I have a well-defined objective or target and a reasonable starting point, I am able to reach that objective most efficiently. A line is the quickest route between any two points. If you know exactly where you want to go and are secure in your own identity, the road ahead will be a lot less daunting. I keep my focus and my aim steady at all times.”

Subtle allusions to aviation in his work attest to Crawford’s lifelong dedication to reaching “High” objectives. This is mostly because of his experience in military aircraft.

Justin Aim Crawford’s success story highlights that it may not be a smooth ride on the way to success. You’ll run into snags and make some blunders on the way. Don’t be hard on yourself; instead, view your blunders as teachable moments. Do not allow them to discourage you from pursuing your dreams. Try to see your mistakes as lessons for the future. Obviously, no one is perfect. When compared to those who stay within their comfort zones, champions are more likely to experience setbacks due to the loftier objectives they pursue. The only real distinction is how champions react to defeat; winners use it to grow and improve.
