Get the Best Birdwatching Spotting Scope

The limitation of the eye is the reason for the creation of a spotting scope. Spotting scopes are a tool for the eye to be able to see objects that are far away. Some types of work require spotting scopes. Not only work but for those of you who like to travel in the wild and explore, then the best spotting scope under 200 are also needed.

Judging from their functions and uses, a spotting scope is usually used for outdoor activities. It will not work in confined spaces due to its limited range. Outside in free space, you can use it to see objects that are very far away. Usually, spotting scopes are used for hunting, field observation, military, bird watching, camping, mountain climbing, and astronomical activities.

Choosing scope according to their intended use is very important. However, looking at the specification table in the form of numbers alone might make it difficult for you to understand. For that, we will briefly explain how to determine the correct lens magnification, level of sharpness, the field of view, and its appearance. Find the spotting scope that matches your needs!

The higher the magnification of the lens, the greater the risk of shock

When using a spotting scope to view objects at great distances such as watching concerts or bird watching, you will of course choose a high magnification lens. However, keep in mind that the higher the magnification of the lens, the more prone to shocks and the narrower the field of view will be. That is why a long-range cartridge will be feasible. We recommend choosing a lens magnification of about 10 × as a reference.

To observe birds that are small and located at a great distance, a lens magnification of about 8-12 × is required. In general, a 10 × magnification is sufficient. A magnification of 12 × or greater is especially helpful when observing small birds. However, if this is your first-time bird watching, choose a lens with a magnification of about 8 ×. In addition, lenses with a diameter of 30 mm or more are optimal for viewing the field of view sharper and clearer. Choose a spotting scope with a real FOV of around 7 ° so you can observe birds with a wider field of view. Also, consider waterproof scope in anticipation of changing weather.

You will not go wrong if you know what kind of product you need. Remember and pay attention to the important features of how to choose the scope that has been described above before choosing the spotting scope according to their usage needs.
