Celebrity fashion Influencer Puneet Tyagi is known for his impeccable style sense, but very few know the other softer side of this Heartthrob from Delhi, that he is a true humanitarian who is always there to help and support people in need. When the entire world is going through extremely grim situation due to COVID-19 including his home state Delhi, he could not stop himself coming forward to help people who have shown so much of love to him.
He has donated generously in PMCares Fund to help people struggling during this troubled time. He says “ We all must unite and work hand-in-hand during this difficult period, COVID-19 is here to stay. Government is doing its best to tackle the situation but It is our duty too as citizens to help fellow citizens.” He frequently distributes food and essential items to people in need. Recently he visited a shelter home in nearby locality of his residence for the same reason , and even gave clothes , masks and hand sanitizer to the needy people. But this is not the first time he did so, Puneet has been associated with many NGOs from long time and help them in generating funds for their causes. Not only this, using his base on social media as well he is trying to create more awareness about how to stay healthy, how to boost immunity and how important it is to follow government norms to stay safe at this time.
Most of his time he is still working, updating his blog fashionwithpuneet regularly or making some informative videos for his online family, but those who met him personally, know that he has heart of gold, he is always ready if someone needs his help genuinely.. He also support lots of upcoming talents through his Instagram handle. He affirms “ Yes, there is lot of talent out there, I see so many people who deserve to grow, be it painters, artists, actors, bloggers who are doing great job, all they need is little push and little attention, so I help them by bringing them into notice.”
Ask why we can’t see any of his pictures around when he is doing so much for people Puneet says “ I do not believe in all these things, should I first call photographers or take selfies with people in trouble? Is it right thing to do? There is proverb in hindi ‘ jo daan bol ke kiya jaye woh daan nhi hota’.” During lockdown period he is preferring more to work from home and like may of us waiting for all this to end. Puneet says “ life wouldn’t be same again for really long time, we have to accustom ourselves with New normal, so I am busy structuring my work around that. There is lots of planning going on.”
