Common Household Potted Plant Cultivation Tips

With the rise of “lifestyle aesthetics” in recent years, flowers are slowly becoming a part of our lives as people become more and more conscious of the ambiance in their lives. Flowers are the best choice as a gift (Send flower to China), and potted plants are the best decoration for your home. Life should be as beautiful as flowers, but some new flower growers often face the pain of not being able to keep their potted plants alive. What should we do? (The following are tips on raising pachira macrocarpa, camellia and cyclamen)

Tips for raising pachira macrocarpa – lazy!

The pachira macrocarpa plant is beautiful and shade tolerant making it an excellent foliage plant for indoor pots. However, because many people do not understand its growth habits, resulting in pachira macrocarpa is also a regular visitor to the garbage can. If you want to keep pachira macrocarpa alive, you have to be “lazy”! Here “lazy” refers to lazy watering. pachira macrocarpa is a drought-tolerant plant, and the reason we can’t keep it alive is often because we are too diligent and frequent watering causes the plant’s root system to rot and die. Therefore, if you want to keep pachira macrocarpa alive, you must reduce the amount of watering, about once or twice a month is enough. In winter, you can avoid watering if the indoor temperature is below 10°C to avoid frostbite.

Camellia breeding tips – soil and vinegar!

Winter is the season to raise camellia, many friends will take advantage of the holidays to buy a pot of camellia, but often not long after arriving home will find camellia began to fall and fade. Raising camellia often requires soil and vinegar: the main reason for camellia not to live is watering, more will cause root rot, less will dry out. It boils down to the soil. As long as your soil is breathable and permeable enough, camellia is not afraid of watering. If you find that your camellia does not see water at the bottom of the pot for 10-20 minutes after watering, you need to consider changing its soil (at the right temperature). Also, camellia is an acid-loving and moisture-loving plant, it is recommended that you spray the leaves with a spray bottle 1-2 times a day and make sure to add a few drops of white vinegar to the water.

Cyclamen breeding tips – potting

After buying Cyclamen, many of you will find that the leaves of the plant you just bought start to droop, and when you water it, it becomes more and more wilted. In fact, Cyclamen is a tuberous plant and not suitable for top-down watering method. Once watered on its bulb, it will easily cause the plant to die. The best way to water Cyclamen is to dip the pot. When you see the leaves fall over, put the pot with Cyclamen into the pot with water and let the water enter the soil slowly through the bottom permeable hole. After about 10-20 minutes of feeling the surface of the soil, you can take it out and place it in a cool and ventilated place so that the Cyclamen will not die.

Each flower has its own growth habits, so you need to make a judgment on the environmental conditions of your home before buying flower pots, and choosing the right flower can reduce a lot of trouble.
