Essential Oils – Essential oils are made from herbs that are natural pest repellants. These essential oils can be mixed with vinegar to create effective pest control sprays. Some of the popular essential oils used for pest control are lavender, rosemary, and eucalyptus. These will keep stubborn pests like mosquitoes away and also leave a fresh smell in your house.

Lemon and Clove  – Lemon and clove are both insect repellents. You can leave out a piece of lemon or stick some cloves onto the lemons and leave them out in the open. This will keep away flies and other insects.

Coffee Grounds – Ground coffee has insect repelling capabilities. All you need to do is to sprinkle some ground coffee in places where invaders like ants and roaches come in.

Fruit Fly Traps – Fruit flies are often annoying small flies that fly around food, fruits, and waste bins. You can create fruit fly traps using apple cider vinegar and water using a bottle.

Wasp Traps – Wasps are also a threat if they come in groups. They can also sting you. If you live in a place where there are a lot of wasps around, you can create traps for wasps.

Boric Acid – You can mix boric acid with the milk powder, create balls and leave them around. This is the best way to get rid of roaches.

Close The Entry Points

The best way to keep your house protected from pests is to prevent them from entering your house. You can look for holes, cracks, and crevices in walls first. Caulk the cracks and fix the vents to make sure that pests don’t get in. You can also make sure that keep everything in your kitchen is kept in closed containers

You can get rid of most pests by keeping your house clean. Pests need certain conditions to survive. This includes moisture, dark places, and food. You can keep pests away by making sure that they do not have access to any of these at your home. So, make sure that you clean your house daily and keep it dry and warm. Do your laundry every day, check for pests or signs of pests in furniture and clothes. A clutter-free home is not a hospitable place for most pests. So keep your house clean, fresh, and clutter-free.
