Major Differences Between Camping & Glamping

  • In camping, campers are limited to enjoying the beauty of nature only.  While Glamping offers both nature and worldly luxuries.
  • Campers need to bring along all necessary equipment to keep themselves clean, safe and entertained, but Glampers only need minimal packing to enjoy their camping experience.
  • Glamping is free of potentially harmful situations like fear of animals, noisy neighbors, and leaky tents.
  • Some camping tents are not ideal for family vacations because they lack the required facilities, but Glamping tents are suitable for all.
  • Camping involves campers bringing their tents, but Glamping structures are readily available.
  • Glamping offers better toilet facilities than camping.
  • Glampers have access to heating and cooling systems which tent campers lack.
  • Campers store their supplies in the car or hang them outside the tent, while glampers put their supplies in their yurt or cottage.
  • Campers have to find the closest streams to get their water and still need to filter or boil it, while Glampers have easy access to filtered water.
  • Campers have to collect firewood when they want to cook, but campers have access to grills and ovens.

Glamping allows people to experience nature in a more controlled environment. It makes camping more enjoyable and conducive than it usually is.
