How to De-clutter Your Kids’ Wardrobe for the Festive Season?

Your kids have a lot of clothes in their wardrobe. The only reason behind that your child’s wardrobe is always cluttered and stuffed with their old clothes, which if not removed, won’t spare much space for their new clothes. Before you start cleaning for this festive season, eliminate your kid’s old clothes and make room in their wardrobes for the upcoming festive outfits. Here are some tips for de-cluttering your little one’s closet for this festive season.

Involve Your Child in the Process

When you start cleaning your child’s closet, involve your child in the process. Your child must know about the cleaning process from a young age as it helps develop his personality and habit. Cleaning is a good habit, and learning a good habit is essential for a child.

Remove All the Clothes Your Child has Outgrown

When you clean a wardrobe, the first thing that comes to mind is segregating the clothes. While dividing, let your kids try, and check whether the cloth fits them anymore. If your kid has outgrown them, remove them from the closet. For example, if your kid has 5 year boy clothes that do not fit him, remove them from the closet immediately.

Clear Off the Wardrobe with Old Stuff

Remove all the old clothes from your child’s wardrobe if he has not worn them in the past 6 months. Ask your child if he needs this or not. As a parent, you should teach him to let go of old things which are not in use anymore, so that new clothes can come into his wardrobe. This will make your process easy off cleaning and would get some extra space in their wardrobes. There are many boys t-shirts online on websites like Rookie India to help your child’s wardrobe update this festive season.

Donate Your Kid’s Clothes

There are a lot of people in this world that do not have clothes to wear. When you have many old clothes and don’t know what to do, tell your child to put them in a carton box for a big bag and donate these clothes to an orphanage or some needy. This habit will also make them understand big life lessons, and they will donate in the future to the needy.

Cleaning is a good habit. Every child should develop it from their younger days. Make it a fun activity before the festive seasons for them, so later on in life, they won’t ever complain that cleaning is boring. When you over-stuff your closet with clothes, you won’t have a place to let in new clothes. There are a lot of offers going on at Rookie USA on top brands like Nike, Jordan, Hurley, Levi’s, and Converse that have amazing discounts this festive season and are waiting to be part of your kid’s exclusive fashion collection.
