Growing up, I have always looked forward to my parent’s guidance. We can’t deny that, as humans, we need guidance as we journey on the path of life. Getting guidance from someone older or a father assures us to keep going.
(Do this when you need God)
God is a parent to us and won’t hesitate to guide us anytime we reach him. He loves us dearly and has beautiful plans for us–but following his guidance will accomplish His plans for us.
In this post, you will see ways to find God’s guidance.
“He does talk, though, and in several different ways, if we pay attention.”
Psalm 19:1–4 says, “The heavens reveal the glory of God; the sky displays the works of his hands.” They spew out words day after day, and night after night, they demonstrate their wisdom.
The natural world is a channel for divine communication. The universe reveals the glory of God, as does the intelligent design found in every living thing, flower, and particle.
2 Timothy 3:16, “All Books are given by assistance of God, and are profitable for doctrine, for reproach, for correction, for instruction in righteousness..” God’s will and guidance for us become increasingly evident when we diligently read the Bible.
2nd Timothy 3:16, “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.”
The good message is that intuition has the power to completely modify a situation. You can refer to it as your intuition, sixth sense, inner voice, uncanny knowledge, instinct, or a hunch. Occasionally all you need to do is look within. Becoming self-aware, scanning your body, and questioning your beliefs will help you trust more in your intuition.
“Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.” (1. Thessalonians 5:18.)
Pay attention to your signs and don’t forget to express gratitude to the universe for providing you with direction. Gratitude exercises help us see things more clearly. It enables us to acknowledge God. It enlarges our perception of God’s goodness in the world and softens our hearts. Gratitude improves one’s ability to experience more joyful feelings, and enjoy pleasant memories. E.t.c.
Making time for prayer a priority entails scheduling consistent prayer periods and frequent Bible study. You can concentrate on the Lord and your connection with him by making time for prayer a regular ritual. Instead of just approaching him with a list of requests, you build a connection with him, and studying the Bible helps to cement that relationship. Colossians 1:9-10; gives a deep view of this.
6. God frequently guides the sage advice of your pastor, peers, or friends.
A fool thinks his way is correct in his own eyes, but a wise man listens to advice (Proverbs 12:15). Having a conversation with a Christian friend can help you see things from a different angle.
All of Scripture is inspired by God and useful for teaching, reproof, correction, and training in righteousness. (See 2 Tim. 3:16) Read the Bible consistently!
Conclusion
In today’s environment, it can be challenging to find God’s guidance. There are a lot of distractions, so I hope the things I’ve mentioned above help you navigate your way to God’s direction.
We will need God’s direction until the day we pass away, because God will still be God.
