How to Find Inspiration on Quarantine?

The pandemic has disrupted all the ways in which interact, connect, work, and live. It discouraged social interaction and interfered with how society functions. For many, personal issues might have risen to the surface, many personality shadows have been revealed; for others, things continued similar to “normal,” especially for those of us introverts. The quarantine took away the constant worry of having to socialize. It made us become even more creative and innovative, original and authentic. It inspired us to become more self-motivated and determined. It made us seek art more and become more inspired and thus, freer.

Of course, extroverts might have empathized. Those who accepted circumstances as they were changed their lifestyles. They found better spaces to develop their inner creativity and found inspiration in everything other than social interaction. They started appreciated their surroundings and became wiser.

I’m sure you identify with at least one of these groups. If you don’t, it’s not too late; don’t feel bad about it. It simply means that it is your time to flourish and find your inspiration. Here’s how.

Stay away from social media

Looking for inspiring content on social media is a good incentive to become more creative but consuming too much social media can be damaging to your health. In the end, you won’t find authenticity by watching social media platforms and channels, but by seeking it yourself, on your own. If you rely too much on what they’re showing you, you’ll end up copying what others do, which cannot be further from originality. Inspiration comes from within, so you’d better read a good book and write your personal conclusions on it, or hijack your imagination using other methods.

Listen to new music

Listening to good music can definitely be an energy booster, so do it as much as you can. Keep yourself preoccupied with finding new, authentic music – or who knows? You might end up composing it yourself. Don’t forget to dance and have a blast while you’re at it. Dance like no one’s watching (because no one is!) and let go!

Watch good movies

Absorbing realistic information from a movie and then transforming it into a creative pursuit is always a good idea. Make sure you watch movies that teach you something – whether it’s about life, politics, or your future career – and write a summary of what you’ve learned from it. You don’t have to be an essay writing website and essay help to draw conclusions based on what you’ve felt and grasped; but you have to be open-minded enough to learn from it.

Learn how to craft

With so much free time on your hands, learning a new skill can be crucial in helping you find inspiration. You could learn how to craft and where the art of crafting comes from. You could learn how to sew and work with your hands. You could even learn how to paint or draw. You don’t have to be super talented at it – just try it; you might be surprised at what you’ll see.

Watch motivational videos

This is a great time to motivate yourself to become empowered and pursue what you’ve always wanted. Watch some motivational videos and let your willpower show. Make a plan and set up goals for your life post-quarantine. Ensure that you are well aware of your desires; make sure you find inspiration in other people if needed. Speaking of which…

Read autobiographies

Reading autobiographies of people, you admire is a great way to find inspiration. Reading about their struggles and wins can be good motivational advice and can determine you to pursue whatever you like doing. You should always try to combine work with passion, so this might be the time to find that bridge.

Journal, journal, journal

Journalism can be a very powerful tool to let go of unwanted thoughts and emotions and find creativity in everything that you are doing. It can also trigger you to become inspired since this is an open space to present your ideas. You might be learning about yourself more than you ever imagined – and that is the first step to finding real inspiration.

Meditate and connect

Meditation can be an amazing tool for finding quietness and resilience within yourself. This quarantine might be the perfect break for you to reconnect with your inner self, your real emotions, and fathom powerful thoughts to be manifested into reality. If you can, connect with nature as well by taking short walks in your garden or the forest. The outcomes will be unimaginable.

Read inspiring blogs

Reading can be inspiring for many reasons! Take some time each day to follow your favorite bloggers to see how they survive the pandemic. They might have real powerful commentaries and words for you, so checking them out is worth it.

Conclusion

Finding inspiration during quarantine is not at all difficult once you know where to look for it. Read, write, journal, meditate, empower yourself to become a better person during this time of the year. Stay motivated to succeed and manifest that into reality. Good luck!
