How to Profile Somebody on Twitter For Maximum Targeting

I know that the title of this blog post is quite scary because hey, let’s face it. You probably have heard all sorts of horror stories of data profiling on Facebook. Besides the thrill of buying social media marketing services from sites like buzzvoice is the fear of data compromise or privacy violations.

In fact, if you have been paying attention to your Facebook account and you look at the ads, it’s really scary how Facebook’s ads seem to be able to read your mind. There’s really not much hocus pocus going on. It’s really not like Mark Zuckerberg is whipping out his crystal ball and somehow peering into the dark recesses and depths of your soul. None of that black magic is happening. 

Instead, Facebook is using sophisticated artificial intelligence to make educated guesses about what you’re interested in based on your past behavior. When you click on a story on Instagram or Facebook, the powerful artificial intelligence software that’s powering Facebook is making all sorts of database projections and spitting out ads that match those guesses. 

If you interact positively with those guesses, then more of these ads will show up. So far so good, right? Well, here’s the thing. You can do the same when it comes to your followers and it all boils down to the content that you produce. 

Now, you may be thinking to yourself, doesn’t this mean that I basically just reverse engineer my competitors and just publish what they’re doing? That’s true. You can do that and I suggest that you do that because this way, you can get a head start. You’re not taking shots in the dark. You’re not just making guesses. 

You start with what’s hot in your niche, you make educated guesses, and somehow, someway, this should get enough traction so you can scale up successful content decisions. This is important. But this is just part of the big picture. 

The big picture is all about profiling the overall personality of your following. If you get this wrong, then you’re wasting your time. It really is that simple. Because if you know how to profile your following correctly, then just like Facebook, you will be able to get the right eyeballs in front of the right advertising content so you can get the right range of reactions. 

This range of reactions doesn’t exist in a vacuum. It’s definitely not insignificant because when people take a certain action at the right time based on the right content, this can translate to a lot more dollars in your bank account. That’s the bottom line. 

There are, of course, a lot of steps to get this going. First of all, you have to buy social proof like Instagram likes, Instagram video views, as well as Instagram comments and other forms of engagement from services.

People are not going to gamble on your content. People are not going to look at your content and see that nobody’s engaged with it and go on to engage. At the back of their heads, there’s a reason why people are not liking this stuff. 

Maybe it sucks. Maybe it’s not worth their time. Maybe there’s something else going on. Whatever it is, I don’t have the time nor patience to find out. You don’t want to be stuck in that situation. So you buy social signals. But beyond that, you have to profile your following based on their engagement levels. 

If you post certain types of news and it gets a lot of comments, that is the red flag that would tell you all you need to know about what kind of content to post, when to post it, and how to position that content. Does this stuff come easy? Is this stuff black and white the first time you see it? Of course not. But this is definitely worth pursuing and this is definitely worth putting in the time, effort, and attention to. 

Because once you get this right and once you’re able to do this smoothly, you will make a lot of money. That’s not hype. That’s not an exaggeration. That’s a fact.
