How Does it Work?

Joinpd operates through a set of three login methods. If you’re unfamiliar with Joinpd, it’s essentially a classroom management system that allows teachers and students to communicate with each other. How To Get Around On The Platform?

First, you’ll need a join code. This can either be acquired from a teacher or found in class announcements on Joinpd. If you have a join code and know which class you want to join, click on Classroom in the upper right corner of Joinpd. From there, click on Search Classes (the magnifying glass). On that page, click on Search by Code, then enter your join code in Text Search (it will look like 123-456-789). Click on Find it, and it should automatically pop up at the top of Classes. Click on it, and from there, you can see what room number it’s being held in and who your teacher is.

How Do You Upload Files?

On Joinpd, there are three choices: A Five-letter Join Code, a Join Code, and an email address or a Join Link. However, if you do not have any of these things at hand (you can use only one), then you can click on Upload Files, and you will be able to upload files. Click on Upload File, select files from your computer and click Open; that’s it! You don’t need any login information to upload files. How Do You Add Documents?

A teacher can drag and drop documents into his or her class from a file share. You can also open up JoinPD with one click on a document in any program that has a built-in ability to email files, like Microsoft Word. After receiving permission from students, teachers also have an option of sending out join links for viewing documents and even joining classes directly from an email. Whether it’s from a file share or joining directly through email, we try hard to make sure there are plenty of ways for you to get what you need. How Do You Add Other Users?

Unlike with email, where you can’t usually see a file unless you open it, files on Joinpd are always available. If you want to see them or download them, just click on File Manager in your course, and that’s it! After that, click on Viewing Files, and then you will see all of them listed out for easy viewing. Don’t forget to use Ctrl+F (for PCs) or Command+F (for Macs) if you can’t find what you are looking for. One awesome part about downloading files from Joinpd is that they are automatically saved into folders in your Downloads folder.
