Medical Director Eliran Mor, MD from California Center for Reproductive Health

Eliran Mor, MD is the Medical Director of the California Center for Reproductive Health located in Southern California. CCRH has three office locations: one in Encino, one in West Hollywood, and one in Valencia.

Dr. Mor received his medical degree from the University of Tel Aviv-Sackler College of Medicine before completing a 4-year residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. He also completed a 3-year fellowship in Reproductive Gynecology and Infertility at the University of Southern California.

Dr. Mor received his California medical license in 2001 and has been practicing medicine for over 20 years. He is also board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is a member of a number of prestigious medical organizations and is in excellent standing with all of them. He is a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), the Pacific Coast Reproductive Society (PCRS), the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons (SLS), and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG). He is also a clinical instructor at the University of Southern California.

Dr. Mor’s entire career has been dedicated to the study and treatment of reproductive endocrinology and infertility. Eliran Mor, MD has researched and continues to research many topics relating to these areas, including polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS); emergency contraception; neuroendocrinology; insulin resistance; male factor infertility; donor sperm insemination; tubal factor infertility; IVF stimulation protocols; congenital uterine anomalies; tubal gamete/embryo transfer (GIFT/ZIFT/TET); pregnancy at advanced reproductive age; and hormone replacement therapy (HRT). 

Dr. Mor also attends conferences and meetings in his field, looking to learn the latest in reproductive health from his colleagues. Dr. Mor is committed to only bringing tested and validated treatments into his practice. This commitment is matched to Dr. Mor’s belief that all of his patients deserve the best, most compassionate care. He was named the Most Compassionate Doctor by the American Registry. He also strives to create a safe, supportive space in his practice for transgender patients and members of the LBGTQIA community.

Considered a true “patients’ doctor” by staff and his patients, Dr. Mor is and will be your physician throughout your fertility journey! All consultations, after-hour inquiries, pelvic examinations, ultrasound examinations, diagnostic procedures, assisted reproductive procedures (egg retrievals, embryo transfers…), and surgical procedures, if needed, will be performed by Dr. Mor. Eliran Mor, MD is involved in every aspect of your fertility care and completely micromanages your treatment, making him your ideal partner in your path to becoming pregnant.

As part of Dr. Mor’s commitment to the field, he also presents abstracts at conferences across the United States and the world. He has also been published at least 12 times in prestigious medical journals including the Journal of the American Medical Association; Fertility & Sterility; and the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology. 

He has co-presented abstracts for a wide range of meetings including the Annual Meeting of the Society for Gynecologic Investigation; the 58th Annual Meeting of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine; and the 19th Annual Meeting of the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology. One of the abstracts he co-presented entitled, “Insulin resistance in polycystic ovary syndrome: Clinical implications of fasting glucose and insulin levels,” was awarded the Frank Lynch Memorial Essay Award at the 70th Annual Meeting of the Pacific Coast Obstetrical and Gynecological Society in September 2003 in Anchorage, Alaska. Another abstract that he co-presented entitled, “Defective autophosphorylation of the insulin receptor (APIR): A potential mechanism of insulin resistance in polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS),” was awarded the Fellowship Research Prize Paper Award by the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the 59th Annual Meeting of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine in San Antonio, Texas in October 2003.
