OSRS – Which Slayer Masters You Should Be Training With

Embarking on Slayer tasks are great ways for you to earn OSRS gold. If you have been having to buy OSRS gold, then you might want to consider taking part in Slayer activities. They can be very effective, but there are certain Slayer masters that you should consider visiting. Out of all of the choices, there are three that stand out. Nieve (Steve)

If you have completed the epic Monkey Madness II quest, then Nieve is replaced by Steve upon completion. To use this Slayer master, you are going to need to have a particular combat power level. In this instance, you’ll need to be up to combat power level 85.

As mentioned, there is three masters that you should be focusing on, and Nieve is somewhere in between the other two. She offers roughly the same amount of experience as Duradel, and more than Konar provides. As positive as this sounds, you will get less Slayer points from her tasks when you are comparing against the other two. If you want to get these points up to the level that you would get from Duradel, then you need to finish the Elite Western Provinces Diary.

Konar

Before we get onto the hardest master, let’s take a look at Konar. You are going to need to be at a point where you have your combat level up to 75 to have Konar as your master. If you have been looking to make OSRS GP then this is the master that you can make the most profit. If you want Brimstone Keys, then you can get this from her tasks as well. Out of the three masters that we are discussing here today, she will offer you the most points.

That said, not every master is perfect, and there are some disadvantages to using her. In Konar’s case, you are limited to particular locations for you to do hunting in. She also offers the least Slayer XP for the tasks that she provides, and she is harder to reach than the other masters as well.

Duradel

Out of the choices, Duradel is the most difficult Slayer master for you to use. You will need to be up to level 50 Slayer, and your combat level would need to be at 100 as well. To find Duradel, you are going to have to have completed the Shilo Village quest as well too. His profits may not offer quite as much as the likes of Konar if you are chasing OSRS GP, but he does offer more points and XP. He’s also a lot easier to reach as well compared to his counterparts.

Duradel’s traits make him a well-rounded OSRS Slayer master. The requirements may seem daunting, but at least you aren’t worrying about ways in which to get to him. There are many players that believe that Duradel is the best master in the entire game. Whilst this may be a bold claim, there are a number of arguments to suggest that he is a cut above the rest. That said, each player will have their own opinion on which one works best for them.

Ultimately, the best master for you depends entirely on what you are hoping to achieve. If you are looking to get your Twisted Bow out and go hunting, then there are still other motives that you need to consider. Regardless of whether you are after rewards, OSRS gold, or easier requirements, then all three are worth working with in their own way. Overall, you are going to benefit by taking on the tasks that they have.
