The best rule of thumb is to keep your beard line just above your Adam’s apple. From this point, the beard can curve outward slightly below your jaw.

4. Wash Frequently

An unwashed beard leads to built-up sweat, sebum, dust, and bacteria. This can cause:

Don’t forget to give your beard a good scrub in the shower daily.
