No matter where you live, cooler temperatures during the winter result in slick roads from rain or snow. This impairs driving for the most skilled drivers. Without a well-maintained vehicle, it might lead to a solo car accident or one that involves numerous vehicles.
Prevent this by taking your car into the shop for a safety check. Have them look at the tires and the brakes for wear. Should they find something suspicious, then get it fixed immediately. Things are much quieter during that time as many people sleep off the previous night’s events. Therefore, you can get a good table at your favorite restaurant or spend time dancing at your favorite club. Plus, you’re more aware of situations during the day and early evening hours than the darkest of nights.
If you want to celebrate on New Year’s Eve, then do it in the comfort of your home. Invite people over and take their car keys to make sure they don’t drive home drunk. If needed, allow them to spend the night to sleep off the alcohol. While they might be hungover the next day at least they’ll be able to safely drive.
