You’ll be able to binge-watch a different Star Wars TV show every day for a year which would have seemed fantastic 20 years ago. When you’ve had enough of Star Wars, and there’s so much else to watch on TV.

If you have streamed star war movies in order, and now the excitement about some of Disney’s upcoming Star Wars Shows because they’re thrilling and fulfilling for fans who’ve waited years for certain characters to return.

7 Upcoming Star Wars Shows

Here are some new Star Wars TV shows the whole family may enjoy. There’s a show for everyone. It won’t matter if you are a Jedi Master or rookie. So, here’s our list of the most anticipated Disney+ series

1. THE BOOK OF BOBA FETT

After the Mandalorian season 2 finale, Boba Fett ascended to Jabba the Hutt’s former throne. The Book of Boba Fett logo was presented after this. Boba Fett appears to have escaped the Sarlacc pit from Return of the Jedi, as he freed Grogu from Moff Gideon in season 2.

The Book of Boba Fett intends to document Boba Fett and Fennec Shand’s travels after they leave Mando. On Disney+ in late 2021, The Book of Boba Fett will teach us more about the characters.

Release date: Dec 29, 2021

2. A DROID STORY

Since their debut in the story nearly 50 years ago, C-3PO and R2-D2 have had a special place in fans’ hearts. They will be aided by another hero, whose identity is unknown, though we hope to see BB-8 return in this newly announced show, which is now in production.

Release date: TBA

3. THE ACOLYTE

Alternatively, The Acolyte occurs 200 years before Star Wars: The Phantom Menace. Uncovering the past through comic books, novels, and more has been a recent Disney focus. But, like many others, little is known about this new show.

Leslye Headland, the creator of Russian Doll, is in charge of Disney’s upcoming show. As for the show’s subject, Headland has indicated that it will be a “mystery thriller.”

Release date: TBA

4. ANDOR

From 2016’s Rogue One, Cassian Andor met his end in the arms of Jyn Erso after obtaining the key Death Star plans that would one day bring the superweapon to its knees. The show’s plot is yet unknown, but filming is well underway, and it will air in 2022 at the earliest.

Diego Luna is Stellan Skarsgard, Adria Arjona, Fiona Shaw, Denise Gough, and Kyle Soller (Cassian Andor). Genevieve O’Reilly will resume her role as Mon Mothma in Episode VII: The Rise of Skywalker.

Cassian’s story has a happy conclusion, but the road to get there is fascinating. An action-packed prequel series with engaging dialogue, this is the closest we’ll get to a Han Solo prequel. Assume Alan Tudyk’s claim that K-2SO won’t be in Andor with Diego Luna is false.

Release date: 2022

5. AHSOKA

Ahsoka, a fan favorite who debuted in The Mandalorian, will now have her live-action series. That Anakin’s former student left the Jedi Order to pursue a path of justice outside of an old religion is no secret. Her old master would be proud.

Rosario Dawson will replay her role as Ahsoka in the series written by Dave Filoni. Filoni has been the main force behind the character’s design since Star Wars: The Clone Wars. He and Jon Favreau will produce the show.

Release date: TBA

6. OBI-WAN

Ewan McGregor surprises at the D23 Expo, the world’s largest Disney fan event. This year, the Earth’s crust shook. When Kathleen Kennedy invited Ewan McGregor to reprise his role as Obi-Wan Kenobi, the volume was cranked up to 11. The camera started shaking as soon as the Scottish celebrity said, “Yes.” The entire arena shook so bad that it had to be reconstructed.

Revolving around the revenge of the Sith and A New Hope, the series follows Obi-Wan Kenobi as he adjusts to life post-Jedi. Obi-Wan and Darth Vader may meet before the first Death Star with Hayden Christensen’s involvement.

Release date: TBA

7. LANDO

No matter how much Donald Glover spends, Lando Calrissian needs to be fleshed out. Disney+ is producing a sitcom about a slick card shark who’s been on both sides of the table.

Only Dear White People writer and producer Justin Simien will direct, but Disney wants Glover to act. So just as much as fans loved seeing Billy Dee Williams return in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, they were curious to see what else the sly, cape-wearing villain may get up to in Solo.

Lando hinted at future stories about him and Luke Skywalker following the Sith, but Disney has so far refused to hire a new actor as Luke Skywalker.

However, Sebastian Stan has expressed interest, and Mark Hamill has endorsed Stan’s candidacy. Finally, Lando’s vision survives. Also check out, online entertainment trends for 2022
