Does the company have a customer service line you can call or a way of contacting them via email? If so, give them a call and see how the conversation goes. 

Is the person polite and courteous? Do they have all the information you need right at the tip of his/her tongue? Or do they sound rushed and like they don’t have time for you? This could be a sign of how your moving day will go. The last thing you want is your movers to rush around your house, not paying attention to what they’re doing, and dropping your things.

This is the most important thing to check when it comes to hiring movers. You want to ensure the movers you hire have the proper insurance in case something happens. This way you are protected in case your belongings are damaged or lost during the move.
