Bridge the ancient Kodo art with the modern medical science

The founder of Shambhala Kodo, Lim Sayfon is an internationally recognized expert of Kodo art, an ancient art of incense making.  From his office in Singapore, the reputation of the Shambhala kodo has traveled to North America and Europe.

 

In Esoteric Buddhism, incense plays an important part as to which natural materials contain certain properties that can affect our body, mind and soul. An art that has been well preserved for thousands of years, Master Lim Sayfon breathes life and passion into imparting the sacred knowledge of Kodo. Master Lim has over 20 years of experience in mixing, preparing and producing the top quality incense. He is also one of the first Chinese in our modern times mastered the entire Kodo art.

 

Using authentic natural incense cleanse negative energy and provide balance to our seven chakras of the human body, mind and soul. The natural incense have enormous medical effects for Insomnia, anxiety problems, dementia, Bipolar disorder, autism and other related illness. Due to the recorded medical usage of much of the ingredients, Master Lim sources his materials from all over the world.

Master Lim’s supreme knowledge and skills in preserving this art form also earned him the honorary professorship at Institute of Brain Chemistry and Human Nutrition under the Imperial College of London. By the nomination of institute’s director of international affairs, Sean Mcclafferty, Master Lim Sayfon’s work has been praised by the institute and it’s board of directors. Recently, Master Lim also published “The holistic medical functionalities of Shambhala Kodo” in the International Journal of Herbal Medicine.

 

The Institute of Brain Chemistry & Human Nutrition (IBCHN) was established in 1989. Initially, the IBCHN was located in the Pathology Laboratories at Hackney Hospital and collaborated with The Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU), run by Professor Kate Costeloe at the Homerton Hospital and then the Hayward Research Building, Queen Elizabeth Hospital for Children, Hackney, London. It is from this research hospital that the late Dr. Bernard Laurence helped pioneer the work on maternal nutrition, breast feeding. Today the Institute is focusing on the prevention and treatment of adverse pregnancy outcomes and brain disorders like cerebral palsy, autism, epilepsy, behavioural disorders, and learning difficulties, in which Kodo can provide alternative solutions.
