How to spend time wisely
Students like to spend their time mostly socializing and playing games, with a little academic progress once in a while. This might be useful up to 5th grade, but after this continuous learning is necessary for the everyday routine. They can divide their time wisely with the help of the following methods, which will not leave them exhausted;
- What you can do under 15 minutes, do it now
Some assignments are really easy and the only reason why students procrastinate is that they find them too easy or too complicated to do at the moment. These are two extremes and we are dealing with the first extreme, a simple task. Consider if you can solve 5 sums in half an hour, and not 15 minutes, try to finish it as soon as possible, and move on to the next task. This way you don’t feel exhausted because you are not sitting with all tasks at once, and are taking breaks in between.
- Categorize and prioritize lengthy tasks
It takes at least a few weeks to complete large projects, and study for examinations. Does this mean that you will do it only the week before it is due? Categorize any task that you have into three parts, or more if required. Don’t forget to include a revision session at the end.
