You need a minimum of 50 score average on the test. The test is divided into three sections and each section requires at least a 50 score average for you to pass the test.

Time Management.
Time management is very important for all tests but enough emphasis cannot be put on this, you need to manage your time very carefully for GAMSAT. The test is five and a half-hour long with time divisions in the following patterns.
- Section 1’s time limit is 100 minutes.
- Section 2’s time limit is 60 minutes.
- Section 3’a time limit is 150 minutes.
For you to pass the test successfully with a sufficient score, you must manage your time accordingly. So the first tip for you is to manage time.
Practice from Past Practice Books.

Be patient, be ready.
The test not only assesses your problem-solving abilities but also your stamina. It is a long five-and-a-half-hour-long test. You should prepare accordingly and be fully charged, must sleep for 8 hours at least prior to your exam, and most importantly, be mentally prepared. Most students lose stamina and motivation midway through their test and back out. Therefore, be patient and be ready.
Study smart, not hard.
While preparing for the test, focus more on your conceptual studies than just cramming. The most difficult part of the test is Section 3. Most students make the mistake of studying from countless different books and try memorizing them altogether. Obviously, you can not learn the concepts of such a vast curriculum altogether…it is very much impossible. What you can do is study lesser but more thoroughly and conceptually.
