Streetwear is a beast that needs to be tamed and with people enjoying the sun, it’s time to get out of the tracksuits and get into the men’s twin set. In general, people are loving the urban streetwear look at the moment, but when you get to a certain age, it’s time to start looking at yourself and realising that you need to tone it down, or start buying stuff that makes you look a little more refined. Always Opt For Premium Fabrics

 

Streetwear first originated from the skateboarding scene and other extreme sports. Urban streetwear was made to withstand falls due to its durability. They would usually be very box-like and very unflattering, unlike today’s streetwear. With fast fashion playing a huge role in fashion, the quality of the fabrics are depleting and things just don’t last as they once did, especially not on a skateboard. 

 

Opting for key pieces of garments in premium materials will allow you to follow the hype, but also looking professional whilst also lasting much longer than the cheaper materials.

Hypebeasts are always after the next one-off product, don’t be that guy. Chances are you will be paying well over the odds for something that has a terrible quality of material, and usually, they are far too out there to go with any outfit. Steer away from this if you are wanting to wear streetwear like a grown-up. Opt for more neutral clothes with premium fabrics, this will last and also go well with other items of clothing. Loose Over Baggy Fit

 

Oversized and baggy clothing is a huge trend now and it won’t be going anywhere for a couple of years, well, at least for young and skinny hypebeasts. The issue is when fully grown adults try to do the same, they look ridiculous. There needs to be some sort of sophistication with the outfit so opt for something that fits you loosely, or have things tailored so that they compliment your body shape whilst also being able to move around in it comfortably. 

Bring The Streets To Work

 

Streetwear is slowly but surely working its way into every corner of menswear meaning that more items are developed to go with the work culture. This is fantastic as it can go with a range of your already existing wardrobe if you have some old office wear that has been in the wardrobe. When we say that we can bring this into the work environment, it doesn’t mean bold and colourful.
