Nanoblocks and the Latest Version of Lego

As many of you may already know, legos became the toy of the next generation. These are practically plastic construction toys composed of a couple of elements with various shapes such as rectangles, octagons, cubes, arches, and the list can keep going.

The kids preferred to play with legos besides other toys because they are triggered by the complexity of colors and shapes that pieces of legos have. Lego also stimulates the imagination and creativity of a child, but it also disciplines him with patience and attention.

The more lego you have, the more you can build, but this logic does not apply to children. The truth is they want to have the latest versions of lego collections that are on the market, which are expensive but are more challenging and closer to their desires of reproducing some of their favourite characters from Star Wars or Pokemon. They seem to be more attracted by nanoblock than the usual blocks. So, why and how did we come to that conclusion?

Why should parents encourage their kids to play with Lego?

Children are very receptive in their first years of life. They can assimilate a lot of knowledge because they use their right hemisphere, mostly where we find the sensitive memory such as visual and auditory memory. This is why they can learn very fast how to count and speak different languages from a very young age, as the Shichida method tells us. So, Lego can stimulate their brains to think, have a large vision, create, and think logically so that the pieces can fit the best. This will also help the kids develop communication and critical thinking, organization, and planning skills. Parents also play a significant role in their children’s lives by providing them a healthy environment where they can play their legos quietly or accompany them and support them while they’re playing so that the child will feel very loved and important.

Why do kids nowadays prefer nanoblocks to the usual blocks?

The answer’s simple. The nanoblocks came powerfully from Japan in a unique way that improves the building experience. These are practically micro-sized building blocks having bricks as small as 4mmx5mm. They can be characterized as very sophisticated and well detailed. They are a 3D work of art, and they offer the following:  The Mini Collection series, which are the replicas of everyday objects or animals, or birds; The Sights to See series for those who are interested in having a cultural experience because this series has a lot of famous landmarks and some of the impressive architectural icons of the world ( Eiffel Tower, Opera house, etc.); and last but not least The Advanced Hobby Series where you can find both of the most critical scenes of history such as Titanic and objects from different fields of work like astronomy. Children are amazed by these nanoblocks because they interpret things that exist or have been seen in real life and so that they get a lot of input about some tourist destination, or objects, or fields undiscovered by them yet. Playing with nanoblocks, it’s also a cultural experience, and this is an essential point that should be taken into account.

Advantages and Disadvantages of nanoblocks

There are many strong arguments favoring nanoblocks, revealing some advantages: the variety of collections, the details of the pieces, and the highest design level. The most vital point of these nanoblocks is to design some of the children’s favourite characters. One example of that is the Pokemon nanoblock collection. The figurines are very close to the original characters, and they are seen as an authentic interpretation of animation.

There are also some disadvantages, but even their disadvantages (less precision, lower strength in products) can be considered advantages for security purposes.

So, there you have it! Now it is up to you to decide whether you will buy the usual blocks or the latest nanoblocks that are incredibly different and innovative. A thing is for sure. Your child deserves the best, and they are always right when it comes to toys.
