Why do most startups fail?

Fahad Sharif shares some important mistakes that most of the startups commit. He names three of these mistakes including lack of a project development strategy, lack of a business model, and weak management. It is not enough in the current market to only develop an innovative or new product. A startup must have a product development plan even at the basic level. It should include the determination of the target audience, communication tools, feedback tools, project scaling, and many more things. Similarly, the business model of a startup should focus on monetization. Most of the startups come up with a unique product but they forget monetization. Investors do not pay attention to the startups that do not have a business plan. Moreover, the startups often face a common issue of weak management during the project scaling stage. A startup can never become a big company if it does not have strong management behind it.

“Of course, I can expand the list endlessly. However, the above-mentioned mistakes can be seen even during the initial analysis of a startup,” notes Fahad Sharif. Apart from these mistakes, many startups suffer from conflicts among the team members, lack of business experience, problems with founders, and many more. The CEO of Alecto Media adds that some investors even help startups that have an incomplete strategy. They find specialists and skillful members for a startup to complete their strategy. But investors will not pay attention to a startup if the above-mentioned key points will be missed completely.
